Letter to Parents - 4A

Letters Home Hits: 605

Dear Parents and Carers,

I hope that you are all keeping safe and well.

As you will be aware from the text messages you have received, we have been made aware of a positive COVID-19 case linked to your child’s class – 4A. I have followed advice from Public Health England to ensure that we are taking the right actions to keep our school family in good health. They have advised that ALL children in 4A will need to self-isolate. This means we look forward to welcoming your children back on Friday 16th July. The advice from Public Health England is that children will only need to be tested if they develop any of the symptoms as listed on the DfE and NHS websites:

Online learning will be available from Monday 12th July. Paper packs will be at the main office on Monday 12th July to cover the week’s learning or for use should you be unable to access learning online. A small number of devices will be available to loan and will be distributed to those parents who requested devices during the January lockdown.

If your child is entitled to free school meals, a lunch bag can be collected from the main office at 12pm daily.

Staff and leaders across school are working tirelessly to ensure that we are following all of the guidance being issued. I appreciate that this is a very worrying and challenging time for the whole Highfield family and thank you for your support.

Best wishes,

Mr. Knibbs

Head of School
