Children in year two are expected to take the end of key stage assessments in May. Although they sit these assessments, the outcome does not determine the end of year attainment.
Following discussions with the class teacher, it was decided the content of the test is not appropriate to the level your child is working at. Therefore, in the best interest of your child, it has been decided that they will not be sitting these tests. However, they will still get a level at the end of the year.
As a school, we have a wealth of evidence to support accurate assessments for your child and evidence to show the progress your child has made this.
If you have any further questions or would like to discuss your child’s progress further, please see your child’s class teacher.
