The Reception Team would love to invite you to an exciting cooking experience with your child on Wednesday 10th May at 9am. Due to Ramadan, the day has been changed from the initial date in June as we would like as many parents as possible to take part.
The workshop will take place in your child’s classroom. We will be preparing four different delicious dishes. The school will be providing all required ingredients and utensils for you to cook with, and also takeaway boxes so you can enjoy your creations at home.
Please don't bring in your own ingredients, as we have varying allergies in the unit.
We would love to see you all there, taking part in all four activities!

We are extremely pleased and excited to announce that Prince Albert High School, a brand new 11-19 free school has been approved by the Department for Education. We are offering your child a place to take part in a residential visit for 3 nights to Anglesey, North Wales. Your child will leave school on Friday 30th June and returned on Monday 3rd July
Please note there are only 60 spaces available and these are on a first come first serve basis.
It is necessary to ask for a contribution of 100 if this visit is to take place.
A non-refundable deposit of £25 is required to be paid by Thursday 6th April should you wish your child to go.
Payments thereafter can be made in 6 instalments of £12.50.
You will need to make the payments through the cashless system in the same way you pay for dinner money. You can do this online using a debit card or with a code from the school office via a Paypoint in a local shop Please see the school office for more information on how to do this. In the event that your child is unable to take part we are unable to offer a refund.
As you are aware the school is slowly but surely going completely cashless, meaning you can pay anywhere any time on an internet device. The next thing that we would like you to pay for using our online system is breakfast club. This will start after the Easter break but will also be available to use throughout the holidays.
If you haven’t yet managed to get logged in on cashless you can contact the office who will resend you the initial text along with some short, simple instructions. If you are still struggling you can contact the office who will be able to arrange a time for you to come in and go through it with you. Please ensure you pay in advance for all services you require from the school. Children will not be able to attend Breakfast Club unless they have paid.

Dear Parents/ Carers
As part of Year 1’s exciting Arts Fortnight we are having a Bollywood Day on Wednesday 5th April.
Children will be taking part in a dance workshop where they will be learning about Indian Dance. The rest of the day will be spent exploring and creating examples of Indian Artwork. We are asking if children could dress up on this day and come in Bollywood themed fancy dress.
We can’t wait to see your outfits!
The Year 1 Staff
Dear Parents/ Carers,
As you are aware, the pupils take books home in order to extend their skills in Reading further. These books come from the school library and are also used for Reading lessons within class.
It is extremely important that when these books are sent home, they are looked after and returned in the same state. Failure to do so, will result in a charge. A charge will be issued if a book is lost or returned damaged.
It is important that we look after all of the school's books as they are used by learners across the school.
