We know that the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdown continues to be felt globally. Many people are facing extremely difficult circumstances because of this, which has resulted in a worrying and anxious time for many people. Below you can find a list of organisations should you or your family need further support in these unprecidented times.
In order to continue to support eligible parents and pupils with access to free school meals (FSM) during the February half term, Birmingham City Council have provided a one-off supermarket eVoucher for each eligible pupil in Reception to Year 6. Birmingham City Council have provided these voucher codes which can be redeemed online for a range of supermarkets.
If you are eligible and have received a text message from school with your digital eVoucher cheque, please follow these steps to order your supermarket eVoucher:
The Physical Difficulties Support Service (PDSS) provides specialist support to schools/settings and Children and Young Persons who have –
- a moderate/significant physical difficulty as their primary need.
- a medical condition, which affects their physical access to the school day.

The Communication and Autism Team would like to invite you to a session to consider planning ahead for your child’s secondary transfer. There will be an opportunity to ask questions to the C/AT representatives about supporting your child/young person during the current situation and the focus of the meeting will be to give you information about the application process and types of provision available.

I hope that you are all keeping safe and well and once again thank you for the support that you are providing to your children in order for them to be able to access learning from home.
As previously mentioned, school was only allocated 25 devices from the government that we are able to loan to families. We have had to issue these devices based on the needs and individual circumstances of the people who requested them based on the information that you provided us with. The first 25 devices have now been distributed which means that many of you will be feeling disappointed. We understand your disappointment and frustration and sincerely wish that we were able to issue more devices but we can only give out the numbers that we have.
