Dear Parents/ Guardians,
Wellbeing Workshops
We are delighted to inform you that Highfield Junior and Infant School will be hosting a series of Wellbeing Workshops for parents and guardians starting this Thursday, 10th November, from 3.15 - 4.30pm. The workshops will take place every Thursday until 15th December in the junior hall. Each week, we will explore a variety of topics such as illnesses and dental hygiene, with all workshops aiming to support parents and guardians in keeping our children healthy, happy and well.
Please come along and join us for the workshops. You are welcome to bring your son/ daughter along with you after collection from their classes at the end of the school day.

EYFS Journey IPad Project Meeting - Weds 23.11.16 at 9:00 a.m.
You are invited to attend a parents’ meeting on the above date.
The meeting will be to discuss the EYFS E-Journals IPad Project. The project enables us to record your child’s learning and experiences via an IPad. Parents will then be able to access their child’s learning journey online. During the meeting, we will provide you with some important information regarding the project and how you can access your child’s learning journey.

Reception Parents Autumn Workshop - Monday 21st November 2016 at 08:50
You are invited to attend a Reception Workshop on the above date, in the reception classrooms. The theme for the workshop is ‘Autumn’. We would love all the parents to come along and join in making some special autumn decorations with the children. You will also have the opportunity to complete our exciting ‘Autumn Hunt’ in the garden! It is a fantastic opportunity to come and support your child’s learning.

Friday 18th November is Children in Need Day and for a donation of £1 your child can wear non-uniform to raise funds for such a worthy cause.
The theme for the day is to come to school dressed in
Pyjamas!
As the weather is likely to be cold please make sure your child brings a coat to wear at break/lunch times, and sensible shoes (no heelies or heels).
