Last week, the children in year one, were immersed into their new topic – Up, Up, Away. All the children wrote letters which they attached to balloons. The children then watched the balloons get released into the sky.
After the balloon release, the children then began thinking about what they might have seen if they had flown Up, Up and Away with the balloons. They came up with lots of fabulous ideas and created aerial maps which are shown below. We've got houses, shops, cars, a park, a mosque, Highfield Primary School and a big red bus.

Dear Parent / Guardians,
The PACT Child Safety Team aims are to ensure that our schools have the most rigorous safeguarding systems and procedures. Keeping the children safe is our number one priority.
Last term we have covered the topic PREVENT. If you would like information on PREVENT and top tips to keep your child safe please visit our school website and check out our Child Safety link. We will be revisiting this topic again for parents and children and will continue to keep staff abreast with current changes and training.
We would like to introduce our safeguarding topic for the Spring term.

During the Spring term the Child Safety Group will be delivering information for parents and talking to the children about positive relationships, online safety and how they can continue to keep themselves safe.
